Haiku – Stormy Weather

Enveloped by Ivy
humidity cultivates
heartbeats grow heavy

~Theodore Maestranzi

This one was written in response to a great friend of mine complaining about humidity; I found she hated her curly hair.  Too often people take curly hair and make it wavy or straight.  Which is a shame, because the supply of curly hair is down.  I purposed to her that her hair was in such low supply that it had become a defining trait.  That it made her pop in a crowd of conformity.  But then again, I could just be selfish and want to see more curly hair in the world.  But I do think you could apply basic economics to this story – but that could devolve into a discussion on prostitution (kidding).
